Placing Orders

How do I place an order?

Simply select the items you want to order and add them to your shopping basket. When you're ready to place your order, proceed to the checkout and follow the instructions for payment. Once you have checked your basket, confirmed your delivery address and paid for your goods you will receive an e-mail confirming your order (this is also your VAT receipt).

Our cut off time for next day delivery is 5:00pm. Orders received on Friday after 5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday will be delivered on a Tuesday. (Please note: some products / postcodes have longer delivery times – for more information please see our Deliveries & Returns Policy).

show-meboards.co.uk is an on-line only company, which means all orders must be placed on-line (our site is 100% secure). You can place orders any time of the day or night. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are also here to help – call us on 01502 500444 between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday or click here to e-mail us. They will be happy to talk you through the process of ordering on-line, and be able to assist you with any queries you may have.

How do I amend an order?

At the shopping basket / checkout page, you can change the quantity and click the "Update" button or "Check Out" button to save your changes. If you wish to remove items, click the "Remove" button.

PLEASE NOTE: Once you have checked out, your order can not be amended. show-meboards.co.uk works on a live system so we can deliver the goods to you the next day. The orders are transferred to the warehouse to begin picking and dispatch. But don't worry, - any items you do not need can be returned, and we will give you a full refund for the goods within 14 days

How do I cancel an order?

If you wish to cancel an order please call us on 0800 741 0800.
If your order has already been dispatched we will need to arrange for the goods to be collected from you before we can issue a refund to you.

PLEASE NOTE:
1. The package should not be opened.
2. Collection will be arranged for you.
3. Your account will be credited for the full amount once the items have been returned.

We offer a FREE next day delivery service on all orders over £75 (excl. VAT) and in most cases will deliver your order the next working day before 12 noon.

A charge of £5.95 (ex VAT) or £6.99 (inc VAT) will be made on orders under £75 (ex VAT).

Additional charges may be incurred and additional time required for deliveries to remote areas / outside of the UK mainland, including:

Delivery Times

We offer a 3 / 5 delivery
Delivery is free for orders over £75 (excl VAT) or £90 (inc VAT).
A charge of £7.50 ex VAT (£9.00 inc VAT) will be made on orders under £75 (ex VAT).
Delivery outside of the UK Mainland and to remote areas of the UK Mainland may require an extended delivery time and additional charges.

Occassionally an item will run out of stock, in such circumstances we will advise you at the earliest opportunity and deliver the item to you ASAP.

If the item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you to let you know and arrange for it to be delivered to you ASAP.

Where do we deliver to?

We deliver to the entire mainland in the UK and Northern Ireland. Please note that additional time and charges may be incurred for remote areas. Please click here to contact us or call us on 0800 781 0400 for further information.

We want to make sure that you recieve the goods you have ordered therefore all deliveries must be signed for. Please ensure someone is available to sign for the delivery. Please note that we do NOT deliver to PO box addresses.

DELIVERY UPSTAIRS: The courier is contracted to deliver to the stated address on the order. If your order is required on another floor, please include the relevant floor number on the order.

FURNITURE: Insurance covers our couriers to deliver furniture products to the ground floor only. If furniture needs to be delivered to a different level you will need to arrange this separately yourself.

SAFES: Safes are a bulky & heavy item. Delivery of a safe depends on quality access to the building. There may be additional charges if two delivery people are required instead of one etc. You will be contacted & asked to answer some basic access questions when you buy a safe.

Your information is used strictly for internal purposes. We collect basic login data (e.g. email address, password, company name) when you register with us. This information is used to identify our customers and to send order confirmations. We collect delivery and billing information (i.e. billing/delivery addresses, phone number) at the Checkout page in order to process your order and to contact you should there be a problem with your order.

When orders are placed via credit card, payments are taken at the time the order is placed. We value your privacy and understand that you don't want your name and personal details sold to third parties. show-meboards.co.uk will not sell, trade or rent in any form your information to a third party. We will only provide your information to a third party, who will also keep your personal details protected, when it is necessary for processing your order and facilitating delivery.

By using our web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information. Should we decide to change our privacy policy in any way, we will post such changes to this page so that you are aware of the information we collect, our use of it, and the circumstances under which we would disclose it.

Are my account details and information secure?

Absolutely Yes! show-meboards.co.uk will not give, sell, trade or rent in any way or form, information supplied by our customers to a third party. Your information is strictly used for internal purposes to process your order. This is a secure payment site.

Are payments on Show-Me Boards secure?

Absolutely Yes! All our credit card transactions are processed by Sage Pay. At Show me boards we use a secure server to automatically transmit an encrypted message to Sage Pay. Your credit card details are safe; we back it with our secure payment guarantee.

What guarantees of security do I have?

If in the highly unlikely event that a show-meboards.co.uk transaction results in an unauthorized use of your credit card you should follow the reporting procedures recommended by your credit card company and contact us immediately on Helpline 0800 781 0400.

Any unauthorised use of a card will be refunded. show-meboards.co.uk will not give, sell, trade or rent in any way or form, information supplied by our customers to a third party. Your information is 100% used strictly for internal show-meboards.co.uk purposes to process your order.

Returns

How do I return a product?

We operate a No Hassle Returns Policy - any items you do not need can be returned, and we will give you a full refund for the goods within 14 days.

To return products within 14 days:
1. Please re-pack the product in the original packaging. To arrange a return please ensure you are logged in and then click here to view a list of your orders. From there you need to click on the return link next to the order you wish to return.
2. Please DO NOT send in any items by post (- we will arrange for the goods to be collected for you).
3. Returned products must be as new, in an unused and resalable condition unless of course they are faulty, defective or were damaged on receipt of delivery.
4. Damaged or faulty products and shortages need to be immediately brought to our attention. Click here to notify us of damage or shortage.
5. Acceptance of returns requests for items not required after 14 working days is at the discretion of show-meboards.co.uk.
6. Due to health and safety regulations the following cannot be returned: food or beverage goods, biscuits, coffee or water, clothing, safety clothing, footwear, safety footwear, socks etc.
7. Please note that a collection fee of £5.95 may be incurred.

A member of our customer service team will advise you of the returns number via email, and will arrange for goods to be collected within five working days from date of returns number being advised. A credit will then be issued within a week of the collection.

Can I exchange items I ordered in error?

show-meboards.co.uk has an easy exchange service that requires you to arrange a return for the item no longer required. Then re-order the correct item. To arrange a return please ensure you are logged in and then click here to view a list of your orders.

If the item you ordered is not what you were expecting we will collect the product. Please note that a collection charge of £5.95 (excl. VAT) may be incurred.

1. The product must be unopened, with any seal intact, and unused. It should be in its original packaging and in good condition.
2. Printers / Faxes / Copiers / Business Machines or Computer Products cannot be resold if the original box has been opened. Therefore you cannot return a machine if you have opened the box, unless it is damaged or faulty.
3. We cannot exchange or refund your product if it has been specially ordered for you.

A member of our customer service team will advise you of the returns number via email, goods will be collected within five working days from date of returns number being advised and a credit issued within a week of the collection.

If you have changed your mind on a product

If the item you ordered is not what you were expecting we will collect the product, and refund your order. A charge of £5.95 (ecxl VAT) will be made per collection.

1. We need to be advised of the item(s) that you do not want no later than 14 days from date of delivery.

I received a faulty item

If you receive a product that is faulty, click here to e-mail us or call us on 0800 781 0400 immediately.

1. Please include in the email a brief description of the fault. A member of our customer service team will contact you ASAP to arrange for the appropriate action to be taken.
2. In the case of a Business Machine / Printer / Fax / Copier / Computer Product or other machine please ensure you provide the serial number of the unit which is faulty. This will be located on the unit itself or on the box it was shipped in.
3. We will advise you of the returns number and re-order number via email, goods will be collected within five working days from date of returns number being advised and a full refund given.

How do you conform to the Electrical and electronic equipment regulation 2006?

What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol) in your bin

Sample Requests

Like our on-line competitors, Show me boards does not offer a sample service. We do however offer a 14 day no hassle returns policy. So if you order goods and they are not what you required you can return them for a full refund.

Please note that the goods must be in a re-saleable condition so they must still be in their original packaging when returned.

Price Match

We regularly check our prices against our major competitors so you can rest assured that our prices are very competitive all year round.

If you find a UK online retailer offering a better price on a product we sell, simply let us know the competitor and product details before you purchase the item – we'll then check the price and, if the competitor's conditions are the same as ours, we'll match the price for you. The product must be identical, available in stock and be sold under the same conditions in order to qualify for our Price Match.

Pricing

Do prices include VAT?

All prices on the site are shown excluding VAT. We also display prices including VAT. This is clearly marked where relevant. When you add a product to the shopping basket VAT will be calculated showing the total amount to be paid.

Do prices include delivery?

Delivery is FREE for orders over £75 (excl. VAT) If your order total is less than £75 (excl. VAT) a delivery charge of £5.95 (excl. VAT) will be added to your basket.

We deliver all orders the next working day, and aim to get your order to you before 12 noon.

For large item, furniture and filing cabinets please allow 3-5 working days for delivery.
